Welcome

We are an association that focuses on our members who have an interest in property assessment valuation. The majority of our members are practicing assessors who contribute their expertise in the valuation of property for taxation purposes in Alberta. The Association provides regulatory oversight of its members in the public interest; stipulates the education and experience requirements for its professional members; provides ongoing professional development for its members; and, works with partners and stakeholders to achieve transparency and equity in property tax assessment practices.

60th ANNIVERSARY Conference 2020 april 29-May 1

In light of the current and alarming spread of Covid-19 and the bans on gatherings over 50 people, Executive Committee has no choice but to cancel the April 26-27 Pre-Conference education courses and the April 28-May 1, 2020 Conference.  The health and safety of members, staff and guests and our Banff Centre host venue are very important to us.

covid-19 and aaa operations

The Association office is currently closed to the public, but is staffed on a rotating basis with amended hours in an effort to meet the recommendations for social distancing and maintain operational obligations.
