Membership Types

Accredited Municipal Assessor of Alberta (AMAA)
Any person who is a practicing assessor and holds the AMAA designation.

Candidate Member
This is an entry level membership category for those wishing to pursue the AMAA designation.  Any person who is a practicing assessor is 18 years of age or older, and is sponsored by an Accredited Member may apply.  Candidate members will have eight years in which to complete their accreditation requirements.

Student Member
A qualifying student member must be a person engaged full time in post secondary educational studies and cannot be employed full time in the appraisal/assessment industry.

Associate Member
Any person who has demonstrated an interest in the practice of assessment and has been sponsored by an Accredited Member.

Retired Member
Any member who is no longer active in the practice of assessment but wishes to maintain a membership in the Association.
