The Alberta Assessors' Association (AAA) was registered under the Societies Act of Alberta in January, 1962.
Assessors measure value on all types of property, from houses to industrial facilities, from shopping centres to oil and gas pipelines and farmland.

Work Across CanadaWith an AMAA designation, Alberta Assessors can work anywhere in the province and the accreditation is recognized in other regulated provinces (currently, Saskatchewan and Ontario) |
Accredited Municipal Assessor of Alberta (AMAA)To become an Accredited Municipal Assessor of Alberta, you must first register as a candidate member, and be actively practicing property assessments. Learn more $525 + GST |
Candidate MemberThis is an entry level, regulated membership category for those wishing to pursue the AMAA designation. |
Associate MemberHave demonstrated an interest in the practice of assessment and has been sponsored by an Accredited Member. |
Student MemberMust be engaged full time in post secondary educational studies and cannot be employed full time in the appraisal/assessment industry. |
Retired MemberFormerly accredited member who is no longer active in the practice of assessment but wishes to maintain a membership. |
